My friend Roger, who I was roommates with for most of 2006-’07, recently photoshopped his coworkers faces onto some various pictures. But he made two critical oversights: 1) he didn’t include a photoshopped picture of himself in the set, and 2) he CC’d me on the email to his coworkers.

Now, either one of those two would not really be a mistake by itself, but together they combine to make one big oversight… namely because I’ve emailed this page to most of his coworkers who were on the original email thread. ;-) The thumbnails below are linked to higher resolution versions if anyone has the disturbing desire to use one of them as wallpaper for their computer or something.

The Black Pirate, Roger

Here’s a rare glimpse of Roger in his natural habitat.  Yes, he actually wore his favorite pirate hat around the house quite often… but on this occasion he also chose to come out of his room unrobed. Easy ladys, he’s taken.

ZZ-Rog

Unbeknownst to most, Roger is a huge ZZ Top fan.  Also, Barry Manilow… but he won’t admit to that outside the house.  Unfortunately when he finally got his lifelong dream to get a photo with the group, he chose to stick his tongue nearly down one of the Z’s ears.  This is the pic taken right before they threw him out.

The unresistable aroma of Roger

On this special occasion, Roger asked me to take some intimate photos of himself when he was still trying to woo Lauren over to the dark side.  Little did I know how revealing he intended to get.  Hey, what can I say…it must’ve worked. Kudos, Lauren. He’s quite the catch.

Ulysses S. Roger

This must be from his days working in the hotel industry.  From what I hear, he just kept growing out his burns and no one had the heart to tell him it was starting to scare some of the patrons. When management found out he was housing a small bird inside it, they had no choice but to let him go. Sad story, really.

Professor Dumble-Rog

Ahh…the piece de resistance. I’ll give him one thing, Roger sure knows how to do costumes right. You see, his sister is a huge Harry Potter fan- almost as much as Roger is of ZZ Top- and this was how he chose to celebrate Robin’s birthday one year by showing up at her party dressed like Professor Dumbledore. Happy Birthday, Robin!
